That is how Bõln imagines the spaces we share. So it developed its own technology using a plant-based material, to make furniture that brings expression, wellbeing and comfort to the places where people spend their day: offices, schools, airports, hotels, malls and open spaces.
Behind it is Poliuretanos Rivas, a Spanish manufacturer with over 40 years injecting polyurethane foam for demanding sectors such as automotive, hospitality and healthcare. All production remains in Spain.
Firm yet soft to the touch
It sounds like a contradiction but it isn't: the material is robust and compact, yet soft and smooth to sit on.
Seamless
Each piece comes out as a single block. That is why the shapes are fluid and there are no joints for dirt to gather.
Indoors and out
Designed for continuous, shared use, it performs just as well in a lobby as on a terrace, even in harsh weather.

Flexyskin®, a foam born from plant waste.
All Bõln collections are made with Flexyskin®, a proprietary technology based on a polyurethane foam made from plant waste. It creates fluid, solid volumes with a surprisingly soft feel, and pieces that are very durable, fire retardant, antibacterial and waterproof.

Compared with similar processes. The moulds work at low temperature, so it also uses less energy.
