Light and its influence on work productivity

Have you noticed that in the first hours of the day your senses are much more awake and alert? You have more strength to climb the stairs, if a pencil falls off your desk, you'll probably pick it up immediately...but what would it be like if it happened during the afternoon?
Our body contains a large clock located in a sector of the brain called the hypothalamus. This clock controls the majority of all of our body's circadian cycles, meaning that a circadian cycle is everything our body does during a 24-hour period.
There are many factors that condition our cyclical body, one of them is light. Light works as a determining indicator for this clock, which produces different hormones depending on its color.
Apparently all light sources are white, this is nothing more than an adaptation that our brain makes and that cameras have replicated with the “automatic white balance” function, and the truth is that light has different colors that can be measured as color temperatures (kelvin), which range from 1800K (warm light close to the color red) to 16000K (cold light close to the color blue).
Now is when everything starts to make sense and we can understand the behavior of our performance depending on the time of day.
How beautiful the sunsets are when the sky is painted in red and orange colors, that is when our brain, through sight, captures this light close to 1800K and understands that it must produce melatonin, the hormone that induces our body into a state of drowsiness and sleep.

For this reason, during midday is when our blood contains a higher level of sugar, therefore we feel more active and awake.
