What should be renewed first in an office?
Chairs, almost always. They are used the most and affect each person's day the most. Then desks if the sizes no longer work, and finally the shared areas, which usually have more life left than people assume.
Can it be renewed in stages without looking mismatched?
Yes, and it is the norm in working offices. The furniture line and finishes are defined from the start and areas are covered stage by stage: at the end everything matches even if it arrived at different times.
When is it better to repair than replace?
When the structure is sound and a component is what fails: pistons, castors, upholstery or runners are replaced without changing the piece. Repairing costs less and avoids discarding something still useful.
What happens to the old furniture?
We discuss it as part of the project. Often part of it is recovered through repair or reupholstery and relocated to other areas, instead of being thrown away.
